Elongated
Coins
A big Hi! to all Elongated Coin collectors. With
the introduction of this page, I'm starting something a little
different.
Follow the links below to your favorite theme(s).
On the next pages you will find references to pictures, such
as under Disney - Zinc Elongated Cents - Magic Kingdom - MK1. There will
be an icon to click. This will take you to a scan of up to 25
elongates. If you see something want just send an email referring to the row and
column, (e.g. MK1, Row 3, Col. 2 - Goofy w/ Racket, just an example, not an
actual item). Just send email to
info@wcsdeals.com
with all items and we will pull them and send totals with shipping. Items
will be held for up to 7 days until payment is received. If more than one
person wants the same piece, the earliest dated email will get it.
On each scan, e.g. MK1, there will be a placement date and a
starting price per coin, then at a later date (shown in the next column) there will be a
price reduction of .10 to .25 (ten to twenty-five cents). (With the
initial placement, the first reduction will be after the first of the year,
after that it will be about every 2 weeks). When approximately 1/2
to 2/3 of the group is sold the scan will be removed and hopefully replaced with
another one.
This will provide the variety collectors an opportunity to
search for any scarce varieties, or that one piece you have been looking for,
and not have to buy a whole group, and it will be a fairer way to determine the
value of any coin. As you will see there is quite a good selection and
every attempt will be made to find more.
Also watch carefully, as there will be individual items and
specials occasionally.
